On October 29, 2021, China Railway Group Malaysia Branch Purchasing Director Zhang Wei visited NAEC Malaysia. Mr. Zhang said that the Singapore-Malaysia light rail project has been shelved due to the epidemic. The light rail project will be restarted after the recent epidemic has eased. There are steel structure light rail passenger stations and prefabrication of some bridge frames. I hope NAEC Malaysia can provide support and assistance.

During the visit, Mr. Zhang made detailed inquiries about NAEC's business model, procurement channels, standard certification, and workshop welding, and expressed great interest in the subsequent subcontracting of steel structure welding business, and said that the two parties will have further exchanges on specific projects in the future.
