NAEC pipe spool intermediate frequency induction pre-heating and heat treatment system is an exclusive pre-welding and post-welding heat treatment equipment specially developed by NAEC for pipe spool fabrication.

The system adopts intermediate frequency induction heating principle, which is specially used for welding seam pre-heating before welding and post-welding heat treatment during automatic pipe spool welding. It is a special high-efficiency equipment to improve the efficiency of pipe spool welding heat treatment and ensure welding quality. It is also an ideal pre-welding and post-welding heat treatment equipment for automatic welding of heavy thickness pipe which is well accepted and recognized by users.

It is in movable type design. After single pass girth seam preheating and heat treatment finished, manually push the movable platform to the next station, which is convenient for moving and with high utilization rate of equipment.

The equipment operation is completed on the ground without open fire or thermal radiation, which effectively reduces the safety risk of operators.

Purpose of doing preheating process:

●Reduce the temperature difference of heating influence area, further to reduce the welding stress;

●Slow down the cooling speed after welding.

Purpose of doing post welding heating treatment:

●Reduce the remaining welding stress;

●Improve the toughness of connecting joints;

●Improve the performance of welding seam and structure in heating influence area.
